A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a woman in Kingston.
Police were called at around 9.30 a.m. on Friday, July 19, to an address in Raebun Avenue, Tolworth, after a woman was found unresponsive.
The woman, aged in her 80s, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Her next of kin is aware of this and is supported by specialist officers.
An investigation has been launched by detectives from the Specialist Crime Command under DCI Brian Howie.
Officers remain at the scene carrying out further enquiries.
A man in his 80s – who was known to the woman – was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody.
